Since 1938 the type G-1 flight jacket has been associated with the most elite aviators. Cooper USA is proud to make authentic military specification G-1 flyer�s jackets. The Cooper USA type G-1 is made from genuine water repellent goatskin with official detail, action back, and inside map pocket. Military spec zipper and fasteners ensure durability even with the most rugged kind of wear. This is the actual jacket supplied to U.S. Navy aviators. This is the modern day G-1 and so the collar is made to military specification of synthetic pile. The lining is nylon oxford with wool rib knit cuffs and waistband. We offer the G-1 in brown, sizes 34-60 regular and 38-60 long. The original G-1 does not have side entry pockets. This honor was ultimately given to the G-1 and the ANJ-2/G-2 fell into obscurity.
